Anne DeSouza

I was born on Trinidad (pop. 1.3M) to a Trinidadian father and South American mother of Indonesian parentage. I now live on Tobago (pop. 55,000). I started a Training Centre www.trainmar-caribbean.org 12 years ago in Trinidad, and a Restaurant, Bamboo Mile Grill, 2 years ago in Tobago. I enjoy travel and dining out, experiencing different cultures & food. I have traveled to 11 major US cities, but also to 36 other cities in countries as varied as Cuba, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Grenada, Barbados, Guyana, Suriname, Switzerland, France, Italy, Sweden, and Thailand. The ongoing ‘big event’ of my life is my family – 2 grown kids, granddaughter, parents, sister, nephews and their kids. Putting others first – and staying that course is central to my commitment to family & employees. I really work for them. Volunteering or donating is a way to bring someone else closer to their dream. I have volunteered on various steering and working groups for training initiatives, and have donated 100% towards a Bachelor’s Degree for one young local. I’m really looking forward to contributing in Argentina!
