I am single, 45 years old (will be 46 by October) and I live in Roanoke, Virginia. I graduated from VA Tech with two bachelor's degrees, one in Business and one in English (1983 & 1984). I have been a Financial Advisor (stockbroker) for almost 23 years with Paine Webber, now UBS Financial Services. My love of travel began 22 years ago when I backpacked around Europe for three months after graduation. I'd have to say it was probably THE BEST experience of my life. Meeting all those different people from all those different cultures expanded my views on nearly every subject more than I ever thought possible. Not only that, but what pure ADVENTURE! Since that time, I have traveled back to Europe three times, having visited some dozen countries. I've been all over the Caribbean as well as Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Chile, Nicaragua, and Panama. Last year I was fortunate enough to visit Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and southern China. My favorite hobbies include hiking, bicycling and motorcycling. I have always been intrigued by Habitat for Humanity. I have done a small amount of volunteering with Habitat here in Roanoke, but I have always wanted to participate in an international build. Now is the time! Hola, Argentina!
